Leaf Project Done!

Here is a picture of some of the the leaf projects we completed yesterday. There are a handful that are not quite finished. I have an email into the office to find out if I can start posting pictures. Hopefully I will have the okay soon and I will share all the pictures that I've taken so far.

I will not be at school tomorrow. I am attending a kindergarten PD session. Normally I do not like to do this on school days but in this case, it was my only opportunity. My plan was to talk to the kids about it at the end of the day on Tuesday, but time got away from me and I did not get a chance. If you think he/she might be upset with the change in routine, please talk to him/her about me not being there and someone else being there in my place. Mrs. Pigford and Mrs. Boida will be there like usual.

I hope the kids are out enjoying this beautiful fall day.

For some strange reason, Oct 2 is not showing up on my calendar below as a KM Friday. I did put it in but who knows?? I just want to confirm that this is our Friday this week so please send your child to school. Our next Friday will be Oct. 23.

This Friday we will be opening up new centers in the classroom and starting a new special student routine. Each day, we will pick a new student to be our special student. This person will be interviewed and will get special privileges throughout the day. Every child will get a turn.

We will also be starting Show and Share next week. I will share more information about this soon.
