I am sorry if I confused anyone about Show and Share this month. On the blog I said to bring an item that starts with the same letter as your child's name. On the paper I sent, I said the 2 letters we have studied so far, c and d. Your child can bring any of these choices. I would just like the kids to be familiar with the letter the item starts with.
You might have heard about our party we have scheduled on Friday. I have some jewels that I put into a jar when positive things happen in the classroom. Some examples are when the kids are ready to be great listeners by the time I do a countdown, if everyone brings back their mailbags, and when I see everyone going out of their way to be helpful and kind in the classroom. The jar is all filled up and last day, we worked together to come up with a celebration idea. The kids chose popcorn/movie party. We will be doing this on Friday afternoon.
Friday is Twin day at the school. Feel free to help you child find a buddy to dress the same as. I was thinking that the kids and I can talk tomorrow and come up with an idea for anyone who wants to participate. Maybe we can wear jeans and a white t-shirt? Maybe we can make something we can all wear. I will put more thought into it and talk to them tomorrow.
The letters we are focusing on this week are Aa and Gg.
