December is Here!

Tis the season to be kind. This is what the students and I talked about yesterday. For the next few weeks, I will be asking them to think about how they can spread more kindness throughout this season. We are going to have a great month!

The kids were very excited to come back to school to find new tables groups and centers. Here are a few pictures to show you what we are up to in December during play centers.

Here are our Home Reading Award winners this month. I had to add both because I couldn't choose which one to use! 

We have been busy practicing for the Christmas concert. The dress code for the event is whatever you want. If you have a special Christmas outfit all ready to go, then it would be a good opportunity to get some wear out of it. If you don't, there's not need to go out and get a special outfit. Their singing is so sweet that it doesn't matter what they wear; they are so cute! 

If you are one of the contributors to our Christmas event, the party will be on our last day of school before the holidays, Dec 17th. Please email to let me know what you are bringing. I'd love to see the following items if possible: meat/cheese tray, fruit tray, veggie tray, one treat, 100%fruit juice, maybe chips or some other type of snack. We ended up with a few too many treats for our Halloween party. 

This Friday is our only Friday this month.
