Puppet Day!

Wow, we just had an awesome morning full of puppets. We saw finger, hand, glove and mouth puppets. Some were big, some were small. In total, Mrs. House and her puppet friend Rebecca brought 392 puppets for us to see. She taught us how to use puppets and how to set up a puppet show.
You might hear requests for materials to make puppets at home. We will actually be making some homemade ones at school next week. If you can send in a sock, that would be great. We will be trying a couple different kinds.
I've started to get some pictures into the Puppet folder in the Picture page. I hope you have all been checking out the pictures I've been taking all year.
I am now looking forward to an awesome afternoon. Better go. It's recess time!

Back again! We had a busy, awesome afternoon. We met up with our new grade 4 buddies. They helped us do a sorting and graphing activity.

We then had fun exchanging Valentines. I wish we had more time this afternoon. We have a few snacks left that we will enjoy next week. Thank you so much to the generous people who sent food in. We really enjoyed it!
