Tomorrow we are heading to Devonian Gardens. Please ensure that you dress your child appropriately for the weather. I recommend sending your child in rubber boots as we will be exploring in some muddy places. You can send them some other footwear in a bag and we will get it on him/her in the afternoon as we will be spending some time outside. If you can, put sunscreen on at home in the morning. I don't think we have to worry about insect repellent. A hat might be a good idea though. I am really looking forward to learning out in nature at the Gardens.
I am hoping to have a picnic lunch outside when we get back tomorrow. If you have a compact picnic blanket that is easy to carry, send it in for your child. If not, I have a few.
Do not worry about sending in their red mailbags tomorrow. We will not have time to pick a new home reading book.
We will be going swimming on June 14 & 16 from 12:30-1. I would appreciate some parent volunteers; please let me know if you can come in the pool with us. (Please!) Due to their ages, we need lots of supervision in the pool.
